Forever young

I fuckin wish!
Aches from injuries
Of youth and stupidity
Visit more often
Becoming close pals
We laughing
About the past
Youth didn’t last
As long I thought
We all need more
I aint sitting
Around crying
The aches move
And travel around
In me, a reminder
From the self that
The body is mortal
Like everybody else

Hokey cokey storytellers

Time for a hokey cokey
sounds of words go in
then go out another ear
In, Out, In, Out,
these people are all about

They sniff a london powder
and chat some shit,
good thing that I’m aware!
Pupils now so big
tube trains could fit in
In, Out, In, Out,
Not even touch the sides

Roll another notey
to stop their down
and that’s what,
their life’s about.

Three Moons

Tonight the sky is different
The round Moon has crashed
Into two other ones
My sight is blurred
My path is a zig-zag

I thought I did not drink
That much this night
But the three Moons
Only appear to me
My vision has expanded
Everything is tripled

I put my spinning head
Down on a soft pillow
And say goodnight
To all three moons
Winking at the middle one

Feed dreams, starve nightmares

Like two kids fighting for attention,
They both want my energy and focus
Both starved, fighting for growth.

My thoughts feed into their digestion
So the nightmares won’t die.
Should not have reflected on it.

The nightmare won’t get nothing
But suffocation,
It cannot live within me.

I will feed the dream
That ending was happy,
I choose that ending..

A voided moment

This nothingness is boring
nothing ever happens.
What to do next?
Who shall I text?

I do nothing but slide fingers
across touch screens,
Can’t remember when
I was last touched

Motivation has left
the smile went too.
Maybe they booked
a cheap holiday,
To escape my way.

Today’s Caravaggista

I know you!
I see your style dark fellow,
Stuck in one mode;
Screw-faced badman.

You don’t need torches and candles
To shed light on human plight.
You are a human in a sorry plight!
Starting fights over food,
Killed a man over tennis?!
Maybe you fucked his wife too.
A reality so unbelievable,
Knights of the realm after you too?
This depends how closely you
follow the path of the master.

Moments of horror;
Here’s the head of St John!
No boring portraits here
Whole stories in a snapshot.
In the midst of an action
I wonder what has happened..
Or is something about to?
To some unlucky painted face.
More questions than answers.
You try figuring out,
The thought pattern of a genius.

Disillusions of light

Each day
The sun rises,
Now the morning is beautiful.

Later on
Stars may shine,
The night seems so enchanting!

A dirty boy is bathed,
His mother is happy
With a crystal clean outcome.

Light at the end of the tunnel?
Nope, just more trains
In this darkness.

Light hits something.
Probably causing some beauty,
Because people are positive.

Seems as though,
Impermanence of light
Means beauty will not last.

Prepare for the darkness,
And remember the light.
What brightness will tomorrow bring?

If any.
