He’s from a different time,
Not better or worse,
I don’t criticise, I cant,
His way is simpler.
The ways he operates;
Far from average,
Far from the mean.
His deviations are in
No way standard.
I’ve learnt the ways
Of his time.
They did things differently then,
I want to visit his time
Not just his home.
Do not need smart devices.
His knowledge is from
No desire to be like others,
A true brother from another

I know I’m right this time,
Been wrong many times.
Pressure is for gas in a bottle,
These days I’m solid as a metal,
No more changing states in a hurry.
Weightless as I walk somewhere,
Careless even though I really do care.
The plan is really coming together.
Know I’m ready for whatever,
Feeling light as a feather
With a force that’s heavyweight.
It is time to accelerate.
Even though I am never late.
Time is waiting for my shine,
That adds the value to the time.
Making the most of every second,
I got plans for all my next ones.
Think it’s time you recognised,
This man’s always been so wise.
Owls aint got nothing on me,
And my voice carries more power.
Facial expression may look sour,
It’s my happiness in disguise,
Camo mode for my outside streets.
Don’t try to read my moves,
That’s a top tip for you.
Just watch what I do.
Only a fool claims he knows what tomorrow will bring.
Lost in their hype, they forget today went so well!
The ego ate the humility and what’s left is worth less.
Speculators make odds and assign values for chance,
Never thinking that tomorrow may even be their last.
Most people grow old but many do not.
It’s not the age of a life that determines it’s worth.
Not what you got planned for next month, week or a day.
The value is added from what you did with your time today,
The time that is ticking, is not unlimited.
Yesterday is gone, what did you do with it?
It’s a set distance between two points,
I’m one point and the other is her.
I travel so fast towards her point,
It’s been too long since I saw her face.
I live in a conundrum that I can’t solve,
The only way is to kill a 100 miles and stay.
Not a happy bunny being away from her.
Survival is not living like I want to live life,
I’m the soldier fighting a solitary war.
I need eyes to look into when I talk to her,
No one else is in the same boat.
My boats got a hole
and it’s slowly sinking.
There’s only one that can rescue my soul,
So I take the first step of a 100 mile trip.
The pink petals fall,
Graceful and slow,
Like the soft tender kiss
From another half.
They fall like confetti,
In a celebration of days
Of sunshine today and tomorrow.
In the marriage of warmth and joy.
Even the blossom tree
Seems happy to share,
Its pink petals everywhere.
And summer blossoms.
Is it possible for things to go smoothly?
Without the unwanted drama that stalks me.
Just for a while, a phase that isn’t a maze.
A long happy life, a journey to the end.
With a lady, my soulmate, lover and friend.
The drama that has gone on before,
Needs to know, it is not welcome anymore.
This is our time to shine, just hers and mine.
The world we’ve created is far from complicated,
Lets create some future, cannot wait to make it.
I need to pause the Time.
As my feelings grow stronger.
To live in this moment for abit longer.
To stay here and touch you is no crime.
You drive me to thoughts of reckless abandon.
And concepts that could never happen.
A boundless scope, a future with hope.
A paused moment so still, with you & I.
As we walk swiftly on by,
I only have eyes for you.
Oblivious to a silent world,
Giving me quality Time long overdue.
