Pool Wars of Kings Cross

Hail your new Victorious King!
Coronated with higher rights,
You saw, your own sight.
I saw your eyes,
You can’t beat me,
Your eyes gave up,
You’re not even playing!
But still play me soon,
Don’t stop trying
Winning is my divine right,
In the game I’m good at.
Don’t trust the words,
Of a silent pool player.
Find someone to test me
And see for yourself.

To win is not enough,
Embarrassing you
And your mates,
Makes me feel great!
Send you all home,
With your little tails
Between your legs.
Go home, but remember me,
Be hurt if you feel the loss!

I witness the plight,
Desperation, frustration,
pained expressions
And fear
On opponent faces,
All gets digested
In my belly
That’s my fuel.
That’s why we’ll play again
And that’s why
I’ll win.
Everytime.

What’s real?

The line between what is real
and what is not,
Has just disappeared.
On day one of a new life,
I must learn all again.
What are my skills?
Who do I love?
Who loved me before?
When I was a prick.
Am I really humorous?
Is my mind a myth?

The tests have begun,
I’m still good at golf.
The drives hit the back fence.
I can still join words together
But to what purpose?

More questions than answers.
An inquisitive kid,
On the first day of school.
Test me again,
I still think I’ll excel.

Everything is going to be fine

I know I’m right this time,
Been wrong many times.
Pressure is for gas in a bottle,
These days I’m solid as a metal,
No more changing states in a hurry.

Weightless as I walk somewhere,
Careless even though I really do care.
The plan is really coming together.
Know I’m ready for whatever,
Feeling light as a feather
With a force that’s heavyweight.
It is time to accelerate.
Even though I am never late.

Time is waiting for my shine,
That adds the value to the time.
Making the most of every second,
I got plans for all my next ones.
Think it’s time you recognised,
This man’s always been so wise.
Owls aint got nothing on me,
And my voice carries more power.

Facial expression may look sour,
It’s my happiness in disguise,
Camo mode for my outside streets.
Don’t try to read my moves,
That’s a top tip for you.
Just watch what I do.
